Your Pool Barrier will be inspected using the appropriate Australian Standard as Deemed by your council’s registration process this will include all components of your Pool Barrier

• Gate and latch operation
• Height of Pool Barrier
• Height of any boundary fencing in the pool area
• Climbable objects within the various No Climb Zones
• Window openings if applicable
• Door operations if applicable
• Strength of components
• No gaps over 100mm
• Retaining walls
• Balconies overhanging

After the inspection a detailed report will be given to you listing any non-compliant items with sensible advice on how to remedy them.

At this point you have 60 days to complete all the work.

If the barrier is compliant a Form 23 compliance certificate will be issued immediately for you to lodge with the council’s pool department
